Pray

Pray with us or for us

We are now holding prayer times at the Love Wales centre again on Wednesdays from 11am to 12.30pm.

You can join us either at the centre or be a part of our WhatsApp prayer group.

Our land needs to hear the good news of Jesus more than ever before! We are still having prayer times via WhatsApp on Mondays and Fridays from 11am to 12.15pm as well. If you would like to join us then please email us HER

Love Wales has the vision of seeing the whole of Wales re-evangelised over the next ten years, by working together across denominations, lifting up the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

This is an awesome vision and one that clearly cannot be accomplished without much prayer input and support.  Praise God for James 5:16 (Amp) which tells us that:

‘…the earnest (heart-felt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working.)’

We are looking to gather one thousand Prayer Partners for this vision to become a reality! You may have already told us that you are praying; you may be part of a vibrant prayer group or church, but if your heart is united with Love Wales, would you consider joining with us and allow your name to be registered as a Prayer Partner?  We are looking for those who will stand with us in the powerful prayer of agreement so we will see the nation of Wales blessed once again with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit bringing revival.

We would commit to keeping you informed, by text or email, of up to date prayer needs, share prophetic words that are relevant, and generally encourage you with the Word.  We will keep you informed of events we are planning, such as ‘Prayer Explosion’ conferences, ‘Breakthrough Prayer, Praise and Proclamation’ gatherings, and other special outreach endeavours that will need your prayer support.

If you would like any more information or just to share how God is leading you in prayer, I would love to hear from you, or even to meet up.

Please email lovewales@live.com

Every Blessing,

Awake and Arise

Following our recent Love Wales Breakthrough events in North Wales the Lord has been impressing upon me the term – “Reveille for Revival”

As someone who spent fourteen years in the British army I understand well the term “Reveille”. It is the wake up call. The sound that causes everyone to awake from their slumber. It is a sound that heralds the start of a new day.

During the four days spent praying and seeking the heart of God for “this day” we were drawn towards the scriptures in Isaiah that speak an awakening to the people.

Isaiah 52

“Awake, awake, Zion,  clothe yourself with strength!

Put on your garments of  splendour,  Jerusalem, the holy city.

The uncircumcised and defiled  will not enter you again.

Shake off your dust;  rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem.

Free yourself from the chains on your neck,  Daughter Zion, now a captive.”

 Isaiah 60

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,  and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

See, darkness covers the earth  and thick darkness is over the peoples,

but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

The essence of this prophetic encouragement is to call the people not only to awake from their slumber, but to arise into their destiny.

The garments of splendour were already theirs and available. Their position was already prepared but they were asleep in chains, and under a yoke of bondage.

It is one thing to “awake” and to see the reality of the situation but it is another thing to “arise” and take action to realise freedom and destiny.

There is a call to the church today in Wales to both “Awaken” and to “Arise”. As I travel around churches in Wales I sense there is indeed an awakening to what is possible, and it is wonderful to see that in several places the churches have taken steps to “arise” and to “shine” with a visible and tangible expression of God’s glory.

The Holy Spirit has impressed upon my spirit a “Reveille” call which I have sought to put into words below. However as I re-read the words I find they do not adequately express the depth of longing and passion that I feel in the core of my being for this to become a reality.

I humbly submit these words to you and ask that the Holy Spirit carry them into your heart, that He breathes His life into them and that you will be one of those who will not only “awaken” to what God has for the nation of Wales, but also “arise” and shine with His glory to see the “Valleys” once again resound with the sound of praise.

As the miners dug into the natural deposits of Wales I am calling my church to dig into the Spiritual deposits of of the land.

Even though the pits are closed and have become monuments to past prosperity, there is still much coal in the ground.

In the same way, the revival is no longer visible and many chapels are closed and have become monuments to past glory, but the deposit of revival remains in the land.

I am calling my workers back. I am sounding a reveille for revival. I am calling my people to awake and to arise.

As the miners would fall into line,  light their lamps, descend into darkness and bring forth the coal, so I am calling the church to Arise, shine and dig again in prayer and intercession to bring up to the surface the spirit of revival that has lain hidden for generations.

There is much more that has been said, and much more that could be said on this subject, but sufficient for the day.

Be blessed to be a blessing
